Glen Shear is the artist who reconstructs reality into vibrant geometric worlds that reveal hidden structure and invite deeper exploration.  Through his signature Virtage-style artwork, he creates geometrically reconstructed worlds of vibrant colors and layered meaning.  Shear assembles interlocking shapes that hint at puzzle-like contour lines, mirroring a stained-glass aesthetic.

Influenced by Expressionism, Graphic Art, and Pop Art, Shear’s palette acknowledges the whimsical and the inspirational at once. Obvious and hidden images throughout Shear’s work serve as metaphors for the deeper, more meaningful experiences we encounter in our lives. 

After a 5-year hiatus, Shear's most recent initiative is a series of geometrically reconstructed landscapes, found in The Nature Collection.
