This painting celebrates Buddy Holly’s legendary song ‘That'll Be The Day’, which took its title from a line that John Wayne's character says repeatedly in the 1956 film, The Searchers. Buddy Holly was one of the most influential songwriter/performers from the pioneering days of Rock n'Roll. This artwork includes a number of obvious, as well as hidden symbols, including the number 1.5, referencing his very few years of fame.
