This painting celebrates the Star of David, the traditional symbol of the Jewish People, adapted later by the Zionist Movement and the State of Israel. This artwork includes a number of obvious, as well as hidden symbols, such as the number 18 - representing ‘Chai’ in Hebrew, or ‘Life’, and musical notes.
