Eziekel's Vision 593

This painting depicts the Biblical prophet Ezekiel’s vision of the likeness of the “glory of G-d”, known as the “Merkaba” or Chariot. As described in Ezekiel Chapter 1, this artwork includes a number of obvious, as well as hidden symbols, such as 4 Angels - each with 4 wings and 4 faces above wheels within wheels, the likeness of a man sitting on a throne of sapphire with a rainbow above, and the number 593, the year the vision occurred.
