FDR-Truman 1944

In1944, Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected President of the United States for an unprecedented fourth term. Senator Harry S. Truman of Missouri became Vice President, and later assumed the Presidency.  These two leaders oversaw the victory of the Allies in World War II, the most important global conflict of the last century.
